Since I've always wanted to replicate outfits from movies or TV shows, especially styles that don't look like me too much but that I've always loved wearing, here we are with this article. So yes, I'm stepping out of my comfort zone a bit to try new things. I hope you like it. And I thank my photographer friend, Mathias Poisnel, for these beautiful pictures.
1st look : Lara Jean from To all the boys I loved before
As I've always loved the outfits worn by Lara Jean, especially this one, it was a real pleasure to reconstruct the style of the character. Especially since it is very stylish and quite retro. So I took to make this outfit a white Hollister top, a Boohoo plaid shirt, a suede skirt from Pimkie, warm high socks bought at Calzedonia and lace-up boots from H&M (which doesn't exist anymore). I added a scrunchie, because the Lara Jean character always wears one, and a small Pull&Bear backpack.
2nd look: Sarah Cameron, Outer Banks
Outer Banks is known for being a city where it's hot all the time, so it's time to break out those stylish summer outfits. And Sarah Cameron is definitely a character I admire on this show, so I chose to recreate one of her outfits. For this, I needed a pair of white Pull&Bear jeans, and a purple plaid Pull&Bear top (even if the original is yellow but I made do with what I had). Of course, I could have taken white shorts but I preferred the jeans. Then I added a necklace and a bracelet to get even closer to the style on the picture.
3rd look: Veronica Lodge, Riverdale
Iconic series and iconic character too. So obviously, I couldn't pass by Veronica Lodge. Especially when I own a white top with yellow sleeves that reminds me so much of the Riverdale universe, which comes from Pull&Bear. I wore it with black Nike shorts, white high socks that I stole from my dad and white Nike sneakers.
4th look : Lydia Martin, Teen Wolf
One of my favorite series is Teen Wolf, so I decided to be Lydia Martin, a character I love, especially for her style of dress, for a while. So I took out my white ASOS shirt and put it together with a red H&M skirt and a little brown Moa bag. Lydia is known to wear skirts a lot and it really amused me to reproduce her style.
5th look : Sabrina Spellman, The adventures of Sabrina
Sabrina's style is so symbolic because she always wears black, red and/or white. And it looks so good on her. So I wanted to try it and I loved it. So for this, I put on a simple black skirt from C&A with a burgundy red bodysuit from Pretty Little Things. And of course, I added Sabrina's touch, the black headband, for a simple style but one that is representative of the show.
6th look : Fallon Carrington, Dynasty
How could I miss Fallon Carrington? She's such a striking character, with so much style, that I had to replicate her style. And that's good, because I already had a Fallon Carrington outfit. I'm talking about my lilac suit that I bought at Missguided, I added a lilac top from H&M, with a lilac Lancaster bag (which doesn't exist anymore). And believe me, sometimes it feels good to dress elegantly.
7th look : Jenny Humphrey, Gossip Girl
If there is a fashion show, it is Gossip Girl. And although my favorite character is Blair Waldorf, with those headbands and amazing outfits, I wanted to step out of my comfort zone by replicating Jenny Humphrey and her slightly rocking style. So I pulled out leather boots from Boohoo, a black C&A skirt, a simple white Hollister top and a leather Zara jacket, with a little black ASOS bag. And here it is!
