Recently, I read the book 21 jours pour être au top (21 days to be on top), and in one chapter, I had to make my list of must-have clothes. So it gave me the idea to show you my list, share it with you and see if you have the same essentials.
First of all, I love wearing suits. I have one in lilac and lately I bought myself (on sale no less) one in beige. And I love it. Coming from Missguided, it's a great color, comfortable and I can add accessories like a belt to emphasize the waist.
Second essential, the cardigan. I love wearing cardigans in the winter because they keep you warm and shape an outfit. Mine is from Brandy & Melville, but I have a beige one from Pull&Bear (shown in the second photo) that I really like too. I paired it with a pair of plaid pants from H&M. And for the second one, I paired it with a pair of holey pants from Pull&Bear, also a must-have.
The blazer dress is an essential for me. As I don't like to wear dresses or skirts, I found a compromise in the blazer dresses. And I especially like this one because it's black and slims my waist. I got it at Missguided, but you can find them everywhere and in many different styles.
Combi shorts for summer are really a must-have. First, because they are beautiful and second, because you don't need to make too much effort. When you don't know what to wear, you just pull out your combi-shorts and you're all dressed up and stylish! And I particularly like mine because it is white with an embroidery anglaise pattern. It comes from ASOS.
The white top is also a must-have. Mine has a square neckline, which I really like since it's in between the round neck and the neckline. So perfect for me. It's from ASOS. And what really makes this outfit is the straight cut pants. I bought them on Pull&Bear and I love them because they are comfortable and stylish. Plus, you can add a touch of color to them. Personally, I threw on a sweater in my favorite color, lilac. It's from Bershka and is super cozy.
And yes, of course, for me, lilac is an essential. Whether it's a top, a coat, a scarf or anything else, I love wearing my favorite color. I already showed the example with my sweater, but I wanted to share my passion for lilac through other clothes. And I think lilac looks great on me. So if you have a color you like a lot, don't deprive yourself. Here, I wore an ASOS square neck top with Pimkie leather pants, and on the second picture, I just added a Stradivarius coat that I love and my lilac scarf.
One of my must-haves that I wear almost all the time, is the Pull&Bear holey jeans. I find that they go so well with my style of clothing and go with everything from tops, to sweaters, to cardigans.... For example, here I wore it with a super comfy and beautiful NA-KD wrap top, and my leather jacket/perfecto from Zara, a must-have for years.
I also put my block color jeans in the must-haves because I find them so beautiful. I was lucky to be able to order it because there were not many sizes left on Missguided. But I'm happy because I love it. Here I put it with a Shein V-neck sweater that I love to wear too and my soft, warm beige coat from Zara (similar), a winter essential because it can go with absolutely everything.
Accessories and Shoes:
For accessories, I have a few must-haves as well. First, my everyday bag, a blackBrandy & Melville bag. Second, my watches bought on Histoire d'Or. Some rings, one of which is from Pandora. Then, on the beauty level, we have my favorite lipsticks Rouge Velvet from Bourjois (notably number 13, my favorite, but I also have number 18 and 19), my nail polishes from Nocibé (shade Sand 135, my favorite, then, shade Granit 130, Gravel 140, Lavender Flower 435, and Linen Flower 465) and finally, my perfumes Loverdose from Diesel, Repetto, and Scandal from Jean Paul Gautier.
In terms of shoes, my must-haves are at least one pair of heels (here, I put two because I love them both so much, the pink one from Texto and the lilac one from ASOS), UGG boots, soft booties like the ones from Etam, and sneakers like the Adidas superstars and the Nike Air Force.
