For a long time, I've been searching for the products that best suit my skin, my hair type and even though I know I'm not done searching, I've still found some products that work for me. And I wanted to share that with you.
First of all, you should know that I have combination skin, dry at times, oily at others. It does a bit of what it wants. The same goes for my hair, which gets oily quickly, especially since I arrived in Paris (thanks to the hypercalcareous water!)
So I had to test a lot of products to know what suits me best.
For my skin, I tried The Ordinary products, recommended by a friend of mine. And it changed my life! I now only use it for my morning and evening routine.
To explain, during my morning routine, I apply in order :
- Micellar water to cleanse my face
- Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% cream
- Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% lotion (which dries the skin a lot)
- Rituals Sunscreen, which is a special face cream that doesn't stick too much
And for my evening routine, I do the same thing (except for the sunscreen).
Sometimes I like to replace my evening routine with masks. Lately, I've discovered the masks from Hema. They are not expensive and personally, I love them. There are 3 of them:
- the anti-imperfection mask
- the hydrating mask
- the glow mask
I also really like Rituals products. I don't just use the sunscreen, but also their Rituals deodorant by Sakura because it lasts long, smells good and contains natural products.
As for my hair, I discovered The Body Shop Tea Tree shampoo. It is for the moment the shampoo that suits my hair type the best. And as a body soap, I recommend the Magnolia soap from Yves Rocher. It smells great. Otherwise there is also the one from the Christmas collection, which I also like the smell.
When it comes to makeup, I don't use many products. Here's what I've kept but rarely use:
- Fenty Beauty powder
- The Ordinary foundation
- Martine Cosmetics Atomic mascara
For my daily life, I also like to use Diesel's Loverdose perfume, L'occitane hand creams, especially the almond one, and the TSE scrunchies I bought during the pop-up with Sissy Mua.
