Recently, I've been trying out some new beauty products, as I wanted to change my routine a bit, and also tested some products against my skin's needs. So here's my review!
First, I picked up a few products from Typology. And I must say, I'm very happy with my purchase. It was after hearing about them again and again, and especially with the reviews I listened to, that I finally decided to test this brand.
And my favorite product is the 9-ingredient cream (yes, like many). But it moisturizes my combination skin superbly. It doesn't leave an oily finish and when you apply it, I'm not sure how to explain it. It just feels so good. It has such a soft texture that it's too pleasant.
I also tested the shampoo (the one with 1% biolipid complex + camellia oil). But after testing it several times, I'm not convinced. At the same time, it's hard for me and my rapidly greasy hair to find what I'm looking for in a shampoo. And unfortunately, this one makes my hair greasy in a day and a half.
The serum for local imperfections works really well. I put it on when I had a big crust due to a pimple and it went away in 3-4 days. Unbelievable!
As for the serum for redness and blemishes, I waited a while before making up my mind. It works, but only after several days of application. So I think I'll finish my little jar and then go back to my The Ordinary routine, which is the one that works best with my skin. I'd still like to try the brand's eyelash treatment.
Then I tried out some new masks from Hema. Personally, I prefer fabric masks, so I only buy those, even if it's not good for the environment because it makes more waste.
But anyway, my favorites are the anti-blemish mask, the moisturizing masks and the eye patches which are incredible (they make the skin under the eyes so soft and leave a rested effect).
As for the new masks, I haven't tried them all yet, but I really like the ones I have.
