Over the years, I've been able to test products for my skin and hair. Some have worked, some have not. But lately, I've finally found a few rare gems that I've added to my 'collection' of best products and adapted to my everyday routine. So here they are!
First of all, for my skin, I recently found that The Ordinary line worked wonders. Mind you, it all depends on your skin type. I know that for mine, it works, but for others, be careful!
So I use every day: the Azelaic Acid which works great against pimples, as well as the Niachamide and Zinc serum; the moisturizer which I love because it is so soft, soothing and of course, moisturizing; and the cleanser (especially to remove the pollution from Paris).
I also take a Toner or a micellar water to clean my face in the morning (because I only use the cleanser at night), a Rituals sun cream that doesn't stick to fight UV rays and avoid wrinkles, an eye cream that moisturizes and reduces my dark circles a bit, another On the Wild Side moisturizer for the morning (The Ordinary one is for the evening) and an SVR cream (repairing care, you can buy it at the drugstore) for the pimples I have on my shoulders (yes, it's not glamorous, I know it but it works, at least on me).
For hair, I particularly like the Hair Burst anti greasy hair line and Coco & Eve, because I can hold on for a long time before my hair gets loose and greasy. Otherwise, there is also the dry shampoo from Hair Burst which is good, but I rarely use it.
For the body, the Rituals line is great, both the shower foam and the deodorant smell great and work wonderfully.
As for perfumes, my favorites are Repetto and Loverdose by Diesel and have been for several years.
Makeup-wise, here's what I've been using for years:
- the Milk foundation because it covers everything otherwise I use the Fenty Beauty powder which is quite covering but lighter than the foundation
- the Martine Atomic mascara, which I prefer among the Martine range because it lengthens the lashes
- Bourjois lipsticks, especially Nohalicious #13
- the Naked 2 and 3 palettes, which I love, I almost only use these two (although I have other palettes)
- the Kiko eyebrow kit which I find very practical
- the Amilab lip balm, which I've been using for years, I can't use another one because it moisturizes my lips so well
- and finally, it's not makeup, but I use Nocibé nail polishes because they apply well, last a long time and are not too expensive.
