Reviews (of the 3 volumes)
Restore Me
Wow, I didn't think I would like this saga any more but this book was incredible. It picks up a few days after the end of the third volume and clearly, I wasn't ready for what I was going to read. It was a hodgepodge of emotions and thrills.
What I particularly liked in this volume was: the double point of view which brings an additional vision which I loved, the appearance of the character of Nazeera which I also adored, and the fact that in this This volume has revelations that I really didn't see coming. I was stunned.
And of course, I still love the characters of Juliette, Aaron, Kenji and James. I can't wait to read the rest because I love this saga so much.
Defy Me
Wow, this book is pure marvel. I went through so many emotions in this volume, I still can't get over it. Above all, we learn lots of things, which allows us to understand so much more about the story, the characters, everything in fact.
Speaking of the characters, as usual, I always love my little trio made up of Juliette, Kenji and Aaron. I just hope that Kenji will be entitled to his little bubble of happiness, because he deserves it a thousand times over. And I hope we see more of James in the next volume.
Imagine Me
It's not my favorite volume because I had a lot of expectations regarding this final volume but I still loved reading this. Following the evolution of the characters to whom I became attached was just wonderful and fortunately there is still a novella to read because I don't want to leave them at all.
In any case, as usual, in this volume, I went through every possible emotion imaginable. At the same time, I think it's because I got too attached to Juliette, Kenji, Aaron and James.
On the other hand, I found that at the end, some explanations were missing, doors that were not completely and explicitly closed for me. I hope the novella can wrap it all up.

Review:
I didn't think I would love it so much. I've already watched the series and I liked it, but now, reading it in this format, I loved it. There are some differences with the series but the story is the same and is very addictive. We already get to the heart of the matter straight away, from the first pages and I loved it. Plus, the designs are simply magnificent. I can't wait to read volume 2.

Review:
I really enjoyed discovering this webtoon. I find the story captivating and super intriguing. I really liked the main character and I'm super intrigued by what happens next. I can't wait for the sequel to come out. In addition, the drawings are just magnificent and immerse us really well in the story.
The serpent and the wings of night - Carissa Broadbent
Summary:
Vampires and humans alike, our survival depends on these three rules: always be wary, always hold on, and always, always protect your heart.
Oraya, adopted human daughter of the vampire king of the Descendants of the Night, had to create a place for herself in a world designed to destroy her. Participating in the Kejari, the legendary tournament organized by the goddess of Death herself, represents her only chance to become something other than prey.
Faced with the fiercest warriors from the three vampiric Houses, victory is far from easy. To survive, Oraya will have to ally herself with a mysterious rival: Raihn.
Raihn is danger incarnate. In addition to being a ruthless vampire, a peerless killer and an enemy of the Crown, he is above all the greatest of his adversaries. But perhaps what scares Oraya the most is the strange attraction she feels for him.
In a world where compassion has no place and where war threatens to tear the House of Night apart, Oraya will see all her certainties shattered.
When The Hunger Games meets Blood and Ashes in a unique page-turner! You'll find a combative heroine, a deadly tournament, enemies forced into alliance, rival vampire clans, lots of action and a slow burn romance.
Review:
But wow, this reading is something. This story is action-packed, with a political intrigue that consolidates everything, so clearly, we will not get bored with this novel. And I agree, it's totally a mix between The Hunger Games and Blood and Ashes, which is very well written without copying these two sagas.
We follow Oraya, a human with a strong character. She knows how to fight, she is strong and courageous, and she touched me in a very beautiful way. She is above all a survivor, and this is felt throughout the reading.
Facing her will be Raihn, also a fighter. Although a vampire, I liked his human side. But I have to say, I don't really know what to think of him. To see how his character will evolve over the course of the saga.
And then at the end, we are treated to some revelations that make us wonder and push us to want to know what happens next as quickly as possible. Personally, I completely recommend this book.
Blood and steel - Helen Scheuerer

But the training is hard, even deadly for some. And what's even more dangerous is his growing attraction to Wilder Hawthorne, his instructor who didn't want a woman in his guard...
As political conspiracies loom around them, the world gradually descends into darkness. Will Althea pass the perilous initiation test and take her place as champion of Thezmarr, or will the evil enemy snatch her dream before it even begins?
Review:
I absolutely devoured this first volume, I couldn't put it down until the end.
We find ourselves immersed in a world where Althea, known as Thea, wants to become Glaive, a sort of legend among the warriors of Thezmarr.
Thea is a person who knows what she wants, and fights for it. I admire his strength of character and his courage in certain situations, especially when people put obstacles in his way.
I also loved the barbs between her and Wilder, which sometimes made me die of laughter, her relationship with her sister and with Cal and Kipp.
In any case, if you like books with lots of action and fighting, and some revelations and mysteries, this book is for you. Especially since it is very promising for the future.
Phobos BD Volume 3 - The pact of appearances - Victor Dixen & Maria Francesca Perifano

They have one objective: to find the partner with whom to give birth on the basis of a weekly 6-minute meeting and all that, under the inquisitive eye of the cameras which film the ship 24 hours a day. Léonor, the French candidate, signed for glory more than for love, but there is one thing she could not have predicted: once boarded the ship, the candidates are all condemned to certain death... Even if the dream turns into nightmare, it's too late to turn around.
Review:
I really loved this part. Although I read the novels, I had forgotten a lot of things and by rereading the comic, it took me back to this story that I love so much. Plus, there's a lot of stuff happening in this volume. The drawings are magnificent and allow this story to be transcribed even better.
